Research On Improvement Of Material Providing System For Assembly Workshop

In this article, based on JIT and supply chain management, the subject ismaterial providing system for assembly workshop of T company, we wouldcollect the data of raw material delivery method and frequency of materialloading, area for product line, line change for current production process,draw the current value stream mapping, then analyze and find out theproblem, and draw the future value stream mapping, and offer the developedsolution to meeting the requirement of the future value stream mapping.Comparing the current and future value stream mapping, the main subject ofthis article as following, establishment and implementation of kanbanmanagement system, layout of workshop, quickly line changeover (includingmaterial changeover and fixture changeover). For establishment andimplementation of kanban management system, the key item are following,improving the process of material providing, improving the method of material loading for assembly line(front loading) Rationalizing the area sizefor assembly line, then meet the target of reducing WIP(work in process)stock, improving production efficiency rate and improving the area utilityrate. For quickly line changeover, analyze the current process of linechangeover, separate the steps and recognize internal and externalchangeover time. Through transferring internal time to external time andECRS method (Eliminate, Combine, Rearrange, Simplify), improve theprocess of line changeover to reduce the time of line changeover and improveproduction efficiency rate.
