International experience shows that with economic development, the proportion ofservices will be increasing and the labor will also from the first, second industry towardsservices. Therefore, the development of services is not only related to the healthy developmentof the economy also affect the employment of labor. So it is necessary to study the developmentof Guangdong Province’s regional service.Firstly, the paper starting from the statistical description method to study the currentsituation of the development of service sector in Guangdong Province. Secondly I useclustering index, including spatial Gini coefficient and location quotient, to study the gatheringof the Guangdong Province’s regional service. Finally, this paper use global spatialautocorrelation and local spatial autocorrelation for the development of regional services inGuangdong Province. After the introduction of spatial factors, regression analysis using spatialeconometric model, use OLS, spatial lag model and spatial error model for comparativeanalysis of three kinds of regression results. The following conclusions:(1)The rapiddevelopment of service industry in Guangdong Province, has an important role in supporting toabsorb the labor force.(2)The region’s service industry has a clear regional clustering effect inGuangdong Province, development of service industry in various regions is uneven.(3)ForGuangdong Province, whether it is the explanatory variable(per capita value-added services), orexplanatory variables(six factors of services) exist spatial autocorrelation.(4)Because of spacefactors, it can not be measured using the traditional regression model, we should quantify thedegree of spatial factors, added to the model, regression using spatial econometric model.
