The Statistical Measure And Empirical Study Of The Process Of New-type Industrialization

The concept of New-type Industrialization, defined firstly in the16th National Congress ofCommunist Party of China, is to insist on information technology to stimulate industrializationand to promote information technology by industrialization itself, which is made up of hightechnology content, good economic returns, low resources consumption, little environmentalpollution and human resource advantages which could be deeply developed. It has been paidhighly attention to the whole country in a short period of ten years, especially for the questionabout what the level of Chinese New-type Industrialization is currently and how it could developin the end, which need specified statistical approach and technology to study. Therefore, on thebasis of theoretical research of New-type Industrialization combining with its deep meaning andbasic characteristics, this paper is going to design a statistical index system morecomprehensively and scientifically to measure the process of New-type Industrialization. Theindex system covers two-tier indicators with eight in the Level-A and thirty-seven in the Level-B.A comprehensive evaluation method is used for the empirical study on the process status ofthe national and provincial New-type Industrialization in2009and2010. Moreover, combinedway constituted among the entropy method, the analytic hierarchy process method (AHP) and thevalue iteration method is applied in the index system to determine the weights of the indicators,which could take advantage of them. In the meanwhile, some original formulas are innovated inthis paper. Finally, the empirical results of the whole country are analyzed comprehensively andsystematically. The province of Guangdong is especially analyzed, being pointed out somemeasures and suggestions for its New-type Industrialization.
