Hulunbeier is in northern China with a long history and beautiful landscapes. Over the years, people of all nationalities live and descend in this fertile land, creating various culture material and spiritual culture which has become a strategic resource of economic development. Genghis Khan Culture is a kind of typical national culture,it is the core of grassland culture, traditional Chinese culture is an important part of the process of world civilization and have had a huge impact.Therefore, this paper is research of sport tourism development based on Genghis Khan Culture, in some sense, that is, national culture and sports tourism on the synchronous development.The tourism resources in this region are very rich, versatile and distinctive. It has ethnic features and a good geographical allocation of resources conditions. Adhere to the correct development of the principle of reasonable development and design, this unique tourism resources will be reasonable, this method is conducive to promoting economic development and even tourism.This paper uses literature analysis, logical analysis, interviews, field surveys and other research methods, the first of the current situation of sports tourism development Hulunbeier research and SWOT analysis of sports tourism resources. Using of the tourism anthropology theory , the case study analysis of travel motivation of tourists. And then in-depth analysis of managers, operators and local people of different cultural expressions of Genghis Khan to explore the tourist’s "authenticity" issues.It is reasonable and necessary to put forward on the culture of Genghis Khan Sports tourism development. It discusses the synchronization of national culture and the development of sports tourism development model, and then make the important recommendations.
