Since the reform and opening up, China’s tourism industry show strong growth, ithas achieved remarkable splendid achievements that attracted worldwide attention.Tourism has been a new important strategic fulcrum to move to the national economydevelopment and a important industry related to the people’s happiness life. In theleading position, travel agency bears the task of providing comfortable tourism servicesfor tourists and connection "eat, live, travel, tour, entertainment, shopping" tourismelements to supply department. It plays an important role for the development of thetourism industry. Therefore, in the mass tourism development stage, the level of travelagency service quality can make thousands of ordinary tourists more satisfied, thehealthy and orderly development of travel agent related to the tourism industry’sscience sustainable development. Unfortunately, over the years, the quality of tourismservices has not been improved but a deteriorating trend, which caused high tourismservices quality complaints by the guides with illegal operation and services, alongwith media exposure caused wide social concern, and even have questioned tourismindustry can provide high-quality travel services for national. It has become a tourismcriticized, having the foundation influence in the health and sustainable development oftourism in our country.Tourists perceived the quality of tourism services is ultimately provided anddecided by travel agency staff who provides face-to-face services to tourists. Researchand practice show that employees can provide high-quality services, to much extent,depends on their salary income to be able to meet the normal and reasonable needs. Aswe all know, our travel agency staff overall pay levels have been standing still fordecades, and other industries salary level has increased with economy and societydevelopment, travel agency staff salary income serious somewhat low, the incentiveeffect obvious weak, in the labor market is no competition. For decades, tourismpractitioners have not shared the achievements of the reform and opening up andeconomic and social development. The current situation of low salary and weakincentive pay lead to the loss of a large number of tourism personnel, high-end talent is an increasingly sharp drop. The reserved tourism practitioners concentrate on theselling counterfeits, reduce the quality of service, to seek private gain rebates becauseof their salary can not meet its growing normal and reasonable material and culturalneeds, and forced by pressure from all sides, not intentional improve travel service, allthis are seriously influence travel agency normal harmonious operation and tourismhealth sustainable development, and restricting the transformation of our country froma Major travel country to a great tourism power. Therefore, solve the problems of travelagency how to keep and incentive talents, reconstruction and the optimized salaryincentive mechanism is particularly urgent and important.This article by introducing the efficiency wage theory, its theory and modelapplied to the construction of the travel agency salary system. It is a beneficial attemptand exploration to optimization research our country travel agency salary incentivemechanism.First, this article introduce the compensation and salary incentive theoryand efficiency wage theory system, and focuses on the classical model of efficiencywage theory and four incentive mechanism, on this basis, carding and reviewed thedynamic research of efficiency wage in our country. Second, the profound descriptionand hazard analysis to the current situation of China’s travel agency salary, the articlecombine with the questionnaire survey get the relevant data, and verifies the low salaryincentive phenomenon common exists in China travel agency and by all the aspectsmultidimensional further analysis the caused harm. And then, establish salary incentivemechanism of the principal-agent profit game model on the basis of the five bigeconomic utility of analysis of the efficiency wage. Finally, in combination with theactual development of our country travel agency, put forward the construction of tourguide the motivational salary system and optimization based on the efficiency wagetheory, in order to benefit the sustainable development of our country travel agencyfrom the theoretical level.
