Research On The Influence Between Total Quality Management And Business Performance

An enterprise which wants to survive, develop and get more profit from the market, mustprovide high quality products and service to the market, which is satisfacted by the customersand even makes customer produce a pleasant surprise. A big problem which the enterprisereply the current competition is how to implement total quality management effectively toimprove business performance. Therefore this paper focuses on the influence between totalquality management elements and enterprise performance.Firstly, this paper reviews the related literatures, combines with the situation of ourcountry, refers to the Excellent Performance Evaluation Criteria and selects the indexes in thispaper. Secondly, this paper constructs the conceptual model, proposing the hypotheses.Thirdly, the paper designs the questionnaire, collect the data, and inspect the sample. Lastly,the paper adopts the method of the path analysis for the empirical research. Between the12assumptions putted forward by this paper,9assumptions have been proved, and3assumptions have not been proved.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:①The element of processmanagement makes a direct impact on enterprise performance mostly, followed by theelement of measurement, analysis and improvement.②The element of the customers andthe market affect the enterprise performance indirectly and the effect is more stronger thanany others.③Among six elements of total quality management, the element of leadersinfluences the element of measurement, analysis and improvement strongly. There is a strongrelationship between the element of the customers and the market and the elements ofresource and process management. The element of strategy affects the element of resource negatively. The element of leaders doesn’t influence the element of process managementobviously.
