With the progress of internetwork communication techniques and the intensenessof competition in the global market, Machinery manufacturing industry is facing thetransformation process that production and operation mode are converting into leanproduction model of small quantities of many varieties. In the transformation process,Although the level of production management has a lot of progress with the support oflarge-scale enterprise softwares such as MRP Ⅱ and ERP, A real-time scheduling resultis difficult to made in the condition of complexity of the product process andvariability of the machine environment in the carrying out a production scheduling. Atpresent, many enterprises are unable to exactly estimate delivery time and respondquickly to customer needs because of unreasonable production scheduling. Thereforethe standard of service is weakened, and many orders are lost. As an important work ofimproving service quality and competitiveness, production scheduling is greatly worthstudying.This paper takes the production scheduling problem of MES in the Company Fas the study object. Firstly, on the basis of making a deep reserch of the productionscheduling in bearing Company F, the factors which affect the result of productionscheduling are identified with analysis of the production scheduling status, such asAccepting an order base of a inaccurate estimate, considering the configuration partly,conflict of use of equipments, and so on. Secondly, Improvement is done to theirrational factors from the perspective of systems engineering by using industrialengineering techniques.Thirdly, an efficient and multi-layered Genetic Algorithm forsolving the production scheduling problem is designed aiming at the optimizationmodel of production scheduling problem by using optimization algorithm theory andprogramming techniques.Finally, by analyzing the demand of production scheduling problem in Company F, A system of production scheduling which optimized theprocess of production planning and the performance of production scheduling isdesigned bese of database technology, software engineering and deeply study ofGenetic Algorithms.The optimization method of production scheduling problem in Bearingmanufacturing enterprises is explored in this paper. It enriches the research of theproduction scheduling problem, and it’s helpful for improving the level of scientificproduction management. Meanwhile, the research of this paper which is meaningfulprovides reference for optimization and improvements of production scheduling inbearing manufacturing industry.
