The modern logistics is not only the complex system including transportation, storage,loading and unloading, logistics information and other logistics activities, and is also thecirculatory system including traditional logistics and reverse logistics. In the past, the theoryand the business focused on the research of the traditional logistics system and its functionintegration. They often neglected the importance of reverse logistics. In recent years, thereverse logistics has become a new profit point and caused the attention of the theory andbusiness. Traditionally, logistics research is as one part of the supply chain system. However,the traditional supply chain model can’t adapt to dynamic research of traditional logistics andreverse logistics for its static stability chain structure. SDN is a supply and demandintegration network with multi-function, opening characteristics and dynamic stability, andwith the goal of global resources acquisition, global manufacture, global sales. It provides agood platform for logistics network planning as its dynamic stability and openness.Based on the current research, this paper introduces the SDN dynamicness and opennessto logistics network design. First of all, it elaborates the background and significance of theresearch, and reviews the related literature at home and abroad, and points out the mainresearch ideas, methods, contents and possible innovation. And it introduces the relatedconcepts and theory in this paper to provide the theoretical foundation for the followingstudies. Secondly, it analyzes the structure, characteristics and nodes and their function of thelogistics network with reverse logistics function for SDN enterprise by system analysismethod. It designs the logistics network model with reverse logistics function for SDNenterprise with MILP method and Agent method. It tests the two models with the sameexample. And the test results are analyzed and compared. Finally, it summarizes the wholepaper and points out the deficiencies and remained research problems.Research shows that it enriches the field of logistics network theroy by introducing SDNconcepts into logistics network design. And it enriches the logistics network modeling methodby using MILP method and Agent modeling method to design the logistics network model.Comparing two model test results shows that MILP method is suitable for small issue, andAgent modling method is more applicable for large and complex problem. Therefore, it has animportant significance for rasing the level of logistics network design, reducing logisticsnetwork cost and increasing operation efficiency to study the logistics network model withreverse logistics function for SDN enterprise.
