According to present situation, the related domain machine vision inspection methods and the technologies have studied in this thesis. Take a kind of flat shape bottled medicinal liquor of domestic factory as the object of study, the irregular bottled solution visual inspector has designed, carried on the online automated inspection in view of the impurity of the irregular bottled solution.The thesis has introduced the definition of machine vision system, the machine vision technology research present situation in the domestic and foreign, and the machine vision in the production, lives various aspects application, then has elaborated the development direction in future of the machine vision technology. According to the needs of the community for the impurity inspecting of the irregular bottled solution, has carried on the inspection target analysis in view of a kind of typical product of a domestic factory. According to the composition structure of visual inspection system, some key technologies of the visual inspector have introduced in detail, including lamp-house and illumination plan design, lens and camera selection, system plan determination and so on.The article has given the detailed design plan of the irregular bottled solution visual inspector, including the electric control system plan, the mechanism control plan of complete machine structure, the host rotating facility, the clamp fingernail, the turn over way and so on, each essential part, and did alone to the rejects sorting device has further designed, introduced the inspection flow in detail. The article in view of the inspection process of the irregular bottled solution, has studied several filtering algorithms which used when carries on the object detection before to carry on pretreatment, and has compared advantage and disadvantage of each kind of filtering algorithm. Then, introduced three kind of image segmentation algorithms that used in the movement object detection: image segmentation based on edge detection, mobile object image segmentation based on image sequence, light flow field image segmentation algorithm. The related algorithms which used in the Blob analysis have also studied in this thesis.Finally, the thesis has introduced the main algorithm flow and the software function design of the irregular bottled solution visual inspector, and has trial produced the prototype, tested the related parameters, summed up the characteristic of prototype. The test result indicated that the visual inspector has achieved the design requirements, has made a good application result.
