The Mongolian Edition of Inner Mongolia Daily is the first provincial newspaper in China that published in minority language and also the first one that records Mongolian history by its own language.The study of primary journalists, editors and translators of Inner Mongolia Daily (Mongolian Edition), as a matter of fact, is a summary of Mongolian press history or part of it, as well as the main objective of press researches.However, the research about Du Guer Su Rong, one of the first primary journalists, editors and translators of Inner Mongolian Daily (Mongolian Edition), is an indispensable part of Mongolian press study, will perfect related press researches and has great significance.This paper has studied the Du Guer Su Rong’s contribution to modern Mongolian press from1946to1987. This paper consists of four parts, including the introduction, the body (three chapters), the conclusion, and an appendix. The introduction part focuses on the necessity, purpose, significance and status quo of the topic.The first chapter introduces Du Guer Su Rong’s resume in detail. The second and third chapters analyze the important press works of Du Guer Su Rong and his excellent press activities from the perspective of social development.In the fourth chapter, the paper elaborates other related details of Du Guer Su Rong and his journalism, and summarizes the whole research in general.
