The methods and tools of electrostatic monitoring are constantly improving sincefrom humans discovered the dangers of electrostatic. People expect to have safe andefficient electrostatic monitoring methods to avoid the harm and loss in industry and lifefrom electrostatic. With the rapid development of electronic technology and networktechnology, the embedded system accessing the Internet is applied to electrostaticmonitoring system has become one of the most effective means of electrostaticmonitoring.This paper presents the design and implementation of electrostatic monitoring systembased on the embedded Web server. The system hardware consists of a microprocessor, anetwork controller, and a data acquisition module, and directly accesses the Internetthrough a network interface RJ45. By embedded TCP/IP protocol stack on embeddedsystem, the data can be communicated between the system and the Internet, and finallythrough the Web page,the system can realize remote monitoring of electrostatic. Thispaper has done the following work:1) Collecting and storing electrostatic data. The electrostatic sensor is responsible forcollecting the static signal, and the signal is transmitted to the signal processing unit tocomplete A/D conversion, while the application will store the conversion results accordingto a certain format.2) The reduction of TCP/IP protocol to adapt to the requirements of the hardwareenvironment and the system data communication. Single-chip processor processing powerand storage capacity is limited, so the protocol stack only implements ARP, IP, TCP, ICMPand HTTP protocol. At the same time, we also need to reduce function of each protocol.HTTP is an application layer protocol, which provides a standard of requests andresponses between the client and server. By embeding HTTP protocol into the single-chipprocessor, the data can realized transmission and expression between server and clients.3) Building electrostatic monitoring software platform based on the Embedded Webserver. Simple Web pages designed according to the actual requirements of theelectrostatic monitoring. The user can set the relevant parameters of the electrostaticmonitoring through the user input which comes from the Web Page, and ultimatelyachieve the remote electrostatic monitoring based on Web server.
