Flat Profile Figure is a kind of figure showing geophysical field plan and sectionfeature. Each surveying line in figure is expressed with the cross-sectional form whichmeans that the dimensions of the cross section is uniform. Thus through contrastanalyzing between the surveying line clearly shows the distribution of anomaly planand section. The work of flat profile figure vectorization is identifying surveying lineand its’ anomaly’s line in the figure, and calculate discrete points of surveying lineand its’ anomaly’s value. Due to the reason of the passage of time, for some flatprofile figure, we only keep the image, lost data. This time if we execute quantitativeresearch, there will be some difficulties. Flat profile figure vectorization becomesnecessary.Currently, the common view of flat profile figure vectorization is through handtracing point, flat profile figure vectorization automatic identification relatively rare,this article is studying for flat profile figure vectorization automatic identification.This article flat profile figure vectorization automatic identification automaticallyidentify divided into four steps: preprocessing, coordinate value line (surveying line)identification, attribute value line (anomaly’s line) identification, calculation ofdiscrete data. The purpose of preprocessing is to make the image clear, projecting thetarget area, thus reducing the interference factors. This article presents severalmethods are: preprocessing based on removing burring, preprocessing based on edgedetection, preprocessing based on histogram equalization and clustering,preprocessing based on region growing to remove interfere. This article selectpreprocessing based on histogram equalization and clustering as a program packagemethod. The coordinate value line identification identify through statistical methods,firstly finding the endpoint on the boundary, and then match these endpoints, so weget the needed coordinate value lines. Attribute value line identification is based oncoordinate value line identification, after identifying coordinate value line executingattribute value line identification, also need to start with the endpoint ofcorresponding coordinate value line finding the endpoint of attribute value line on theboundary, then starting from this endpoint departure to track the entire attribute valueline. On the way to track if matching the interrupt condition, we will need to interrupt,on the place of interrupt, identify the endpoint of continuing track, but also we need torecall the last place of interruption if the attribute value line of tracing doesn’t pass thecorrectness of judgment when tracing to the other boundary. Computing discrete pointdata need the vector information of the coordinate value line and the attribute valueline, firstly select to be estimated point on the coordinate value line, find the equationof vertical line through this point, and then find the corresponding value line equation,then can obtain the corresponding coordinate of value point, so that we can get theproperty value of to be estimated point. Program package proposed method, addinghuman interaction, the purpose is to enable automatic identification of the lower errorrate. This article contrast the results of mapgis interactive vectorization with theresults of this article identifying prove that the algorithm can be applied to flat profilevectorization moreover high correct rate.
