With the rapid population of smart phone and the extraordinary development of mobile internet, the market demand of mobile equipment localization is increasingly severe, the implementation scope consist of GSM, CDMA,LTE etc. Obviously it is crucial for mobile APP to provide user location information more precisely to face the commercial expansion and the fierce competition. Considering the disadvantages and insufficiency of TDOA, GPS, A-GPS etc when implemented in indoor and urban environment localization, a position finger location based CDMA localization system is designed and the mobile terminal hardware and software system is designed and implemented correspondingly.Firstly, the research state of position finger location technology is analyzed based on plenty of reference, and the insufficiency and disadvantages of different wireless network location technology is specified.Secondly, the system demand is comprehensively analyzed correspond to the principle of position finger location, the system architecture and the different functionality modules demand is proposed. Considering the development difficulty, system performance and portability, eventually Linux performed as the dominate control system, SIM5216acted as WCDMA module and G591is chosen as GPS module. Meanwhile the upper monitor of mobile equipment localization center is briefly illustrated. Furthermore, the mobile terminal hardware and affiliated circuit is designed, which is consisted of embedded hardware, WCDMA module and GPS module. Then the development and runtime environment is established. The frame format, connected the mobile terminal and the location center, is defined. The procedure of the location system is:acquire the location information, message send and receive, acquire the GPS location information, offline data acquisition, and online localization.Finally, a comprehensive test case based on the location finger principle and the function of mobile terminal is formulated. Test results demonstrate that, in urban circumstance case, this system perform well in3G mobile terminal, the expected objective is achieved.
