With the rapid development of information technology and computer technology, the informatization is becoming more and more widely diffused in various walks of life, and the information construction is also becoming necessary. Teaching and student management in colleges and universities have always been a difficult and arduous task, and over the years, various universities invest more in this respect. However, in the case of traditional manual operation which given priority to, there are still many problems and disadvantages. Therefore, it’s necessary to develop the corresponding information system and framework to serve the management, maximize the usage of resources, improve efficiency, and promote information construction of the teaching department in colleges and universities.This article analyzes the background and research status of information framework concerned the academic department in colleges and universities, and also combined with the writer’s two years work experience in teaching department of college, it does demands analysis with all kinds of business in college’s teaching department, and talks about the business needs in the relatively outstanding student management and office automation. This topic aims to develop and design the framework of information construction in teaching department in universities. According to the demands of student management, office automation and other business, it develops the student management subsystem, assistant subsystem and automated office system to achieve the corresponding functions. Also for each subsystem, it does the requirement analysis, overall design, detailed design and implementation. Student management system mainly is divided into options of student, options of Party member, options of student management and options of student status, which is total four function modules and helps the realization of student management’s function; Instructor subsystem mainly consists of four function modules, that is, information management, Party member management, attendance management and dormitory management, which mainly helps the instructor with work; and office automation subsystem is divided into the announcement news management, personal information management of teachers and students, station letters and file upload and so on, which mainly serves office automation services in college’s teaching department.This system uses the B/S structure system, and then according to the design idea of MVC developed by Web, which provides a clear design framework and normative basis for software engineering. By using the framework technology of J2EE (struts2+hibernate3+spring3), the whole system is divided into three layers:presentation layer, business logic layer and data persistence layer. Each layer and related interface is design by the use of modularization, in detail, by using the factory pattern, strategy pattern, proxy design pattern in the design model, it designs the data access layer with the dynamic load, which to achieve a complete separation of the view, controller and model and reduce the coupling degree.This thesis takes Java language as the main development language, Myeclipse as the development tool, Dreamweaver and div+css as the design tool for the front page, MySQL5.5as the database management system, and realizes part of the JSP page’s function with the assistance of Javascript script language.
