With the development of the Internet, the exchange of information has become increasingly convenient at present. The new technology has produced plenty of social issues as well when brought convenience. As a special kind of intellectual property, Software contact with people’s daily life living more and more closer. Meanwhile, the issue of software copyright infringement has become growingly serious. Miraculously number of pirated software, resulting in huge losses to the social wealth, has already become a big issue to be solved. It is software watermarking technology to solve problems of infringement of software copyright. As a branch of the digital watermarking technique, software watermarking embeds hidden information which identifies copyright into carrier software to prevent infringing. Compared with relatively mature multimedia watermarking, software watermarking research is still in its initial stages, lack of relevant theoretical system and has much space to explorer.At present, technology based on compiled binaries watermark is mostly for PE files on Windows platform. For ELF files on Unix platform, the research is much less. Analyzing the structural characteristics of the PE file and ELF file and the data structures related with dynamic link, a scheme to hide information with these structures has introduced in the paper. After structural analysis of carrier file in depth, a watermarking algorithm based on redundant space and another based on rearrangement are introduced in the paper, invisibility and robustness of the algorithms is analyzed as well. Finally, with the analysis of the experimental data, the effectiveness and feasibility of the scheme is proved.
