| With the rapid development of network technology, as well as the scale of Web applications become increasingly large, we have to solve such problems in the Web application development process that how to make full use of the existing network technologies to meet the complex and varied needs of the user experience, how to improve the Web application developing efficiency, how to reduce the cost of maintenance of Web applications, and how to increase Web application scalability and scalability. REST architectural style as a new web application form, making full use of existing network technology, has made up for the deficiencies of the traditional network architecture.This paper proposes a resource-oriented Web application reference model based on the REST architecture style. This paper describes the reference model from four aspects of the constituent elements, architecture, data flow, and functional features. By the rational division of client and server-side responsibilities and the reasonable design of components, the reference model not only maintains the simple and efficient Web application development process, but also improves the scalability of Web applications.Finally, under the guidance of the reference model, the paper developed a simple multi-pool hall management Web application. The Web application validates the feasibility of the resource-oriented Web application reference model based on the REST architecture style. |
