With such their own subjective reasons of the sharp rise of the number of users and the constant expansion of the business needs each year in our country’s telecom operators, and objectively the Internet technology, such as the mobile Internet technology, cloud computing technology have a great push to the computer application, people’s desire for computing equipment renewal, and many aspects for terminal equipment becoming more diverse, personalized, having mobility and safety, which show the explosive growth. In the traditional the "tight coupling" computing mode to computer hardware terminal equipment, the host operating system and application procedures already could not adapt to the needs of the current development. And this has been unable to meet people for more and more high demand to software and hardware’s continuously upgrade and maintenance brings. So terminal virtualization’s or desktop virtualization’s technology and its system have gradually been recognized and familiar by people, and been researched and applied for the industry.First of all, the paper introduces the desktop virtualization and its key points. It puts forward VDI and SBC virtual desktop solutions based on the operators’own features. And this made comparisons for two solutions. Then this analyzes and researches that an improved VM scheduling algorithm for the desktop virtualization technology. I sum up and summarize many benefits which the desktop virtualization brought about.Secondly, this paper introduces and designs the telecom operators’ overall architecture and every functional modules of terminal virtualization system. And discuss in detailed the virtual desktop platform such a system core module and its security.Thirdly, this paper analyses each scene’s application based on the four major telecom operators’application scenes. Then I introduce and analyze terminal virtualization system’s simulation test in the field of each application scene, including functional testing, compatibility test and performance test.Last but not least, I have analyzed and summarized for the terminal virtualization system’s deployment plan, the problems discovered in the system on-line test running, and operation maintenance (it includes technical operation maintenance and service operation maintenance).
