In recent years, due to the growing demand for wireless access technology, as well as increasing data exchange business (such as the Internet, e-mail, data file transfer, etc.), wireless communications and wireless networks were shown as exponential growth trend, which is favorable to promote the development of wireless communications to high-speed communications. However, data throughput requirements of wireless communication technology for industrial, agricultural, automotive electronic systems, home networking, medical sensor are very low, and power consumption is also very low, so it is necessary to develop a new standard solution. In this standard we want to design a wireless transceiver scheming maintaining a minimum flow of communication links and low complexity. The core issues which should be considered are the low-power and low price in the standard which requires applications of low bandwidth, low-data-rate transmission.Papers as one of the tasks of the laboratory project is mainly to study the IEEE802.15.4standard, to get the new standard802.15.4j with802.15.4physical layer expansion formulated in line with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) MBAN provisions physical Layer on2360-2400MHz enhancement techniques, and to correspond modification of the MAC layer to support the new physical layer. Technologies mainly involved in the papers are frame detection technology, symbol synchronization technology and carrier frequency offset estimation technology. The main contents of the papers are following aspects:(1) the purpose of the data frame detection during reception of the data frame is to find the message start time of the physical data frame’s arriving detected by the data frame delimiter (SFD). Once we detect the physical data frame’s arriving, then we get the data frames for subsequent despreading and demodulation.(2) The purpose of symbol synchronization is to extract the clock signal from the data frame in the course of the data frame accepted, so as to sample with the symbol rate periodically in the precise sampling time, and then we get the output of the demodulator.(3) The purpose of the carrier frequency offset estimation technique is to determine the carrier frequency of the received signal in the data frame accepted throughput the process, thereby, we could accurately demodulate the received data frame.
