Short-wave communication is the main means of the remote communication, which is not subjected by network hinge or active repeater. Once a war or disaster happened, a variety of communication networks are likely to be damaged and the satellite may also be attacked. It is proved that short-wave communication has the best survivability performance. Now it is widely used in government, military, diplomacy, weather, business and other fields. Though more and more new kinds of radio communication system invented, short-wave communication, the traditional communication system, has never been ignored and still been rapidly developed.A fundamental challenge in transmitting high speed data over radio channels is ISI(Inter-Symbol Interference) caused by multi-path propagation, and a high rate of bit error will be brought. Equalization technology is widely used in high speed wireless communication system. Among existing equalization technologies in order to overcome ISI and decrease BER (Bit Error Rate). Single-carrier based Frequency Domain Equalization exhibits the property of relatively low complexity, low PAPR and better estimation precision. It is widely used in wireless communication system. The thesis focuses on the SC-FDE (Single-Carrier Frequency Domain Equalization) technology. Firstly, this paper presents the characteristics and regular pattern of radio channels and explains the concept of SC-FDE technology. Secondly, the paper have a research on the principles and system construction of the SC-FDE technology, then make a study on the channel estimation and frequency domain equalization At last, a Matlab simulation will show the performance of SC-FDE technology and the different system BERs via different signal modulation modes.This thesis also researches on the principle of shortwave sing-sideband modulation and demodulation techniques, and the system design and implementation based on FPGA. First, the single-sideband modulation and demodulation system theory was briefly introduced, including several basic methods on the realization of single sideband modulation and demodulation technology which are analyzed and compared, especially the method called Weaver, and then systematically introduces the ideas to achieve single-sideband modulation and demodulation theories based on software radio technology, including DDS technology, interpolation, filter design and focused on not only the simulation performance of the system, but also the FPGA implementation methods, at the same time in the Quartus environment, using hardware description language VerilogHDL to verify the design accuracy of each part and combine all the modules according to the design of the whole system.This paper consider the ionospheric reflection of short-wave channel and the influence on the data transfer, do the following work according to the requirements of lab project:... |
