SC-FDE(Single Carrier Frequency Domain Equalization) allows an advantageousof high-speed data transmission in frequency-selective fading channel. It avoids thecomplexity of SC-TDE(Single Carrier-Time Domain Equalization), and the high PAPR(Peak Average Power Ratio) of OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)as well. It becomes one of the most important components of the wideband wirelessaccess technique.In this essay, it constructs a whole single carrier frequency domain equalizationsimulation system, and gives performance evaluation of each algorithm.First, thecharacteristics of the wireless channel, the design of the SC-FDE system for frequencyselective fading,and key module algorithm complexity analysis and simulation resultsshow that the transmission rate of the system is relatively high and the error rate isrelatively low.The simulation is implemented in hardware algorithm simulationbasis.One of the key technologies include:the frame structure, channel estimation,frequency domain equalization, FFT transform, frame synchronization and samplingbias estimation, carrier frequency offset estimation and tracking, up and downfrequency conversion.Designed FPGA hardware implementation Quartus ii platform was simulated singlecarrier frequency domain equalization system. Some modules such as the channelestimation, frequency domain equalization, FFT transform is designed. Some modules,such as channel estimation, frequency domain equalization is implemented.Transmitter and receiver design and implementation process, the use of modular designand flexible interface, the system is scalable, and compatible with other modes oftransmission. Receiving end of the demodulated data and sender data is consistentthrough the verification of functional and timing simulation. Demodulated data of thereceiving end is consistent with the sender data. This is the same with the Matlabsimulation results and verifies the correct of hardware programming.
