| With the popularization and development of the network, the network hasaffected all walks of life including education in recent years. Network education hasbecome a hot topic in education today. Compared with traditional education, thenetwork education has its own characteristics of flexibility, autonomy and efficiencywhich make the network education develop rapidly. Web Quest which is based on theConstructivism and relies on the network environment is a new kind of networklearning mode. In this mode, the students with the rich network of resources can studyindependently under the guidance of the teachers. In the process of achieving thegoals and tasks given by teachers, students can improve their own inquiry andproblem-solving abilities.The thesis is the preliminary study to Web Quest based on high-school biologynetwork. Besides, it also involved in the origin, development, and research statushome and abroad as well as the application to biology teaching. I also established abiology Web Quest teaching platform of biology for high school students. Thus,students can expand their learning by network. According to theoretical research andteaching practice, the following conclusions are made:Firstly, domestic Web Quest which has only started is very immature and has notyet reached the point of application.Secondly, in foreign countries, especially in the United States and some Europeancountries, Web Quest has reached the point where it can be applied to teachingpractice.Thirdly, based on the Web Quest learning mode of biology, it is easy to beaccepted by high school students.Fourthly, high school students can broaden their knowledge effectively by WebQuest model. |
