Research And Design For Lightweight Class Intelligent Form System Based On XForms

Information technology plays a very important role in nowadays. Electronic forms had replaced the paper forms for the main tool in obtaining information. Software companies had developed countless web systems, which include electronic forms. The traditional way of developing a form system depend on programming, if the system is complicated enough, that will required much programming work,and the Software developing and maintain work depend on code developers. Another important thing is that Html forms had a inherent weakness, which is data and display bind together closely, which lead to that developers must modify web pages and script programs when software demanding had been changed. As a result, electronic form has a bad portability, low developing efficiency and high cost.Intelligent form system is a high efficient and precise tool for information collecting, it delivers the form designing authority to users, it changes the traditional form systems developing mode. Though intelligent form system, user may design form systems no matter what the demanding is going to be. The form systems designed by intelligent form system may contain the functions like:form operating, data verifying, limit of authority, technological process, interacting with database. Though intelligent form system. Software companies find a way solve the problems like bad portability, low developing efficiency and high cost in electronic forms.Though intelligent form system is favor of developing form systems expediently, the current intelligent form systems have the shortage like complex designing procedure, poor database supporting function, huge and complex etc. The paper aim at the shortage of current intelligent form systems, design a new type intelligent form systems which is based on B/S model, combined with XML, XForms and database. It will make the customs design form systems though doing some simple and convenient configuration on browsers.Firstly, the paper analyzes the current research on intelligent form system of both domestic and abroad. Secondly it introduces the concept of intelligent form system and differences between intelligent form system and traditional electronic forms. Then it lists the problems of current intelligent form system, presents a lightweight class intelligent form systems which is based on XFroms. In the second chapter, it introduces the relational technologies like XML, XForms etc.In he third chapter of this article, we introduce the research of a lightweight class intelligent form system, include how XForms is applied in the system, how to verifying data though XML Schema in XForms. then give the principle of generating forms, read and write operating, automatically generating database. After the related technology and theory are discussed, in the fourth chapter, we give the requirements analysis and system design, then introduce the form engine and form designer based on CKEditor, at last, we introduce the database structure of the system.
