With the rapid development of power electronics technology, the application of power electronic technology non-linear device significant increase in the low voltage distribution network, the result of harmonic pollution shorten life of electrical equipment and even damage the electrical equipment, so the National put the harmonic pollution control forward higher requirements. Active Power Filter (APF) is an effective governance harmonic power electronic device. Products currently exist slow dynamic response and low compensation precision, this article based on that APF improve dynamic response speed and improve the accuracy of angle compensation and designed high-performance low-voltage distribution network active power filter.To improve the compensation performance of active power filter in the low voltage distribution network, this paper analyzed the factors affecting compensation performance and proposed function and design target of high-performance APF, and launched a systematic program design.For the design specifications of the APF, this article designed from the following aspects: firstly, in-depth studying instantaneous reactive power theory, focusing on improving the soft phase-locked loop (SPLL) and low-pass filtering technology to improve the response speed of harmonic detection algorithm and detection accuracy; Secondly, a detailed analysis of active power filter mathematical model to improve the traditional PI controller and repetitive controller integration, improving current tracking control response speed and steady precision; also describes SVPWM the DSP digital control implementation and DC capacitor voltage stability control methods; then, using MATLAB for improved harmonic current detection method and the current method of tracking control system simulation analysis to verify the effectiveness of the improved algorithm and feasibility; Finally, the system software and hardware are designed.This design of high-performance active power filter significantly improves the dynamic response speed and APF compensation accuracy. With advancing in technology and processor performance increasing, neural networks, intelligent control and other advanced control algorithms will be widely applied to the APF.
