| "Live12" program founded by NMTV Mongolian channel officially started in January3,2005. The aim of this column is to reflect the hotspots, difficulties and doubts in work and livelihood of Mongolian broad audience; and offer them a platform where they can express themselves. Since the premiere of the "Live12" program, problems like injurious to the public interest caused by the local governments unreasonable policy making, civil dispute triggered by their ignorance of the law, and environmental problem etc. became the major selected topics. For the acute, typical, and universal topics, this program rise and recognized in the field of supervisory function of the media. But lots of problems became prominent after two years running. Such as rather dull topics, obstruction of the supervising reports etc. Hence, on the basis analysis of "Live12" program, NMTV Mongolian Channel presented News Program "social Observer" and aired officially in November15th,2007. A column with "extensive attention, depth, powerful analysis and rational comment" style came into audience’s sight. At the beginning, supervising report is still the main content of the programa. Later, in order to specify the main orientation of "News Program", the program change the topic tendency, tried to highlight the characteristics of "news report and rational comment". For several years running,"Social Observer" not only has covered about the matter of "San Nong San Mu", but also has reported the other field of the industries which enrich the content of selected topic step by step. In geographically, it not only focus on Inner Mongolia, also look extends to eight provinces and autonomous regions; On the means of expressions, in order to strengthen the characteristics of the news comments, it added the interview method and "host+comment" method; On frequency of the first run, it increased three times a week, from two times a week at the early stage. These change played an important role in noticing news and events holding the timeliness of report and strengthening the critical aspect of the column. But there are all sorts of problems during the running; such as the low interaction with the audience, the lack of the news clue as well as marginal effect of the supervisory function of the media etc. These problems also gave meaning to the research work how to improve the quality and impact of the News Comments of NMTV Mongolian channel, how to close the distance between the program and the audience, thereby give play to News supervision of public opinion. In this paper, by analyzing the "Live12" and "Social Observer" across all years, compare the range, depth, critical angles, news contents and comments of the selected topics of two programs. Based on the Analysis and research, I will offer my own suggestion to its future development. |
