Precision agriculture which is supported by remote sensing systems, geographicinformation systems, global positioning systems, communications and computercontrol technology, use agronomy, earth science, ecology model, according to theimplementation of a set of field variation of the production process is Precisepositioning, quantitative management integration technology of modern agriculture. Itis the efficient use of agricultural resources, reduce environmental pollution and softto maintain the sustainable development of agriculture systems engineering. In theearly1980s,The United States put forward the concept of precision agriculture andideas. Into the production of practical application in the early1990s to1995, theUnited States, about5%of the crop area of the application of precision agriculturetechnology. In recent years, not only the Western developed countries, the practice ofprecision agriculture technology was noticed in Japan, Korea and other countries havealso started a pilot demonstration study. Chinese scientists in1994therecommendations of the research and application of precision agriculture in ourcountry, and began research in this area, but with foreign countries there is a great gapbetween the theoretical and technical equipment. The implementation of precisionagriculture is conducive to improving China’s deteriorating agricultural ecologicalenvironment, improve economic efficiency, and promote the sustainable developmentof agriculture in China.In this paper, design departure from the requirements of precision agriculture,precision agriculture monitoring system design a real-time acquisition and control.This paper first introduces the status quo of precision agriculture and precision agriculture wireless sensor networks.Then summarized the advantages of ZigBee and GPRS technology, theseadvantages of the ZigBee and GPRS technology is very suitable for precisionagriculture monitoring system. Next introduce the Z-Stack stack structure, thenetwork address in the Z-Stack allocation algorithm, the binding process, the routingmechanism and route maintenance channel configuration to achieve in-depthdiscussion. Then introduce the system’s hardware and software design. First discussesthe precision agriculture wireless acquisition monitoring system structure and part ofthe design of the hardware from the hardware side. Then we discusses the softwaredesign of the system. Finally, the completion of the hardware and software debugging,the system can properly work. And hardware to do the normal work of the long-termtests on hardware, but also found that the hardware and software industry there aredeficiencies, but the function is basically designed to meet needs. Finally, in the end,this article summarizes and expectations.
