With the flourish development of contemporary high-speed train technology,Train speed is rising and the railway lines rapidly extend. The positioning of thehigh-speed train is increasing more and more important. The current main trainpositioning methods have shown their limitations. With the advent of the ZigBeetechnology, low-power, low cost and high scalability has become the hot spot of thecurrent wireless communication technology research and application. In this context,this paper making use of RSSI location algorithm designs a viable location algorithmbased on ZigBee train, and make the train arrive at the real-time location and monitorthe train, in order to protect the safe operation of high-speed trains to reduce trainaccident frequent occurrence. The main contents are as follows.1. Firstly a systematic study of domestic and international mainstream trainpositioning method analyzes the advantages and shortcomings of the existing trainpositioning algorithm.2. The paper have a more comprehension to the relevant theoretical knowledge andcutting-edge technology of zigbee and have an in-depth study on the uniqueadvantages of ZigBee technology in train positioning applications.and then the paperanalyzes the protocol stack architecture of zigbee.at last the paper is compared to thezigbee technology and other wireless communication technologies, in order tohighlight the strengths of ZigBee technology in the train positioning.3.By studying node localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks,the paperAnalysis the defects of the algorithms and application bottlenecks and describes theevaluation of the positioning mechanism.It Provides a solid theoretical basis for thenext step design and implementation of ZigBee-based train positioning.4.By studying the demand analysis and research of the existing train positioningsystem,the paper describes in detail to meet the needs of the ZigBee chip and resolves the Doppler effectiton in the high-speed train, in order to address the impact of theDoppler effect on the high-speed train positioning.and put a detailed analysis of thebasic principle of the Doppler effect.and the paper calculates the Doppler frequencyshift through deriving from the basic principles.By the analysis and research of theDoppler shift, we have adopted an effective solution to reduce or eliminate the impactof the Doppler effect on the high-speed train positioning.5. The paper proposed RSSI-based wireless location algorithm after a large numberof theoretical studies and practical applications of measurement. Through in-depthanalysis and demonstration of the basic principles of traditional RSSI algorithm, thepaper analyses the defects and shortcomings of the traditional RSSI algorithm forhigh-speed train positioning and concludes that the traditional RSSI algorithm can notbe achieved for the precise positioning of the high-speed train. Therefore, accordingto the specific circumstances of the high-speed train positioning, the paper puts anoptimization and improvement from environmental factors causing measurement errorand ranging and the node coordinate positioning.The paper achieves precisepositioning of the high-speed train6. The paper finally through the the repeated experiments test on the designZigBee-based high-speed train positioning algorithm conducted a comprehensiveanalysis. By testing in the type of train running speed and the type of received signalstrength,the paper verify the accuracy and the positioning accuracy of the algorithm.Obtaining by a number of experimental verification, the present algorithm can achievethe positioning of the high-speed train, but there is a certain range of acceptable error.And pointed out that the algorithm will need to continue to improve and improve partThe high-speed train positioning algorithm of ZigBee technology has theadvantage of terminal small size, low power consumption, less cost and conveniencenetworking features and so on. In addition,it acheives the transparency of the systemoperation, accurate positioning and signal strong anti-interference.It can achievehigh-speed travel in a more accurate positioning.
