In the current medical education in China, especially in the education of general surgery, anatomy and minimally invasive operations, real human body organs play a very important role. However, due to lack of real human body organs, the students are not able to improve their skills in practice in a short period of time. With the development of computer science and the popular application of internet, the online medical model educational system based on WEB3D is a simulation of real minimally invasive operations.This paper argues that the system will provide students with a virtual environment of minimally invasive operations. Through this system, students will have a better understanding of human body organs and the techniques of minimally invasive operations.In the process of implementation of the system, first studies, some basic techniques such as:modeling network technology, Web Service technology, virtual reality technology, the related technology, the simulation model of human organs in the basis of these techniques, based on research of WEB3D technology, realized in the webpage of virtual the reality of the scene, the online training and testing possible. Secondly, the realization process of the specific system, the human organ model simulation is the body model, constructed by3DSMAX software. Operation model of virtual instruments using surface modeling, realization by PRO/E. In the minimally invasive operation simulation, collision detection operation instruments and human organs occurs by optimizing the traditional collision detection algorithm realization; deformation of human organs using mass-spring model with the traditional implementation; And can be used in conjunction with the handle to control the virtual endoscopy and flexible movement, adjust or replace the operation instruments, like in the operation to do so, the learning process more efficient. Finally, user access control are realized in the system, log management, data backup function, make the system safe, reliable operation. At the same time, the conversion process and check program is established, through the data conversion, to provide various data formats improve support, through the definition of the data format and data conversion mechanism, to ensure that each system can receive their could understand.The paper also discusses the basic techniques applied in the research such as NET, Web Service and virtual techniques. With this system, students are able to access to the simple and efficient means of practice, which makes medical education more practical and less costly.
