Research On Ontology Construction Of Folksonomy Based-on SCOT

In the age of network information, the folksonomy has been widely used. In the miscellaneous information of cyber source, there are some limitations on the development of the modern information organization because of its own weakness. Under the network environment, classification system which with the advantages of fine and orderly, Explicit, Dynamic, having certain semantic control and Strong abstract generalization may be suitable for network information classification, information organization, information retrieval and so on.Ontology can clear semantic relations, in a certain form to express the relationship between the concept of information resources and information resources, to structure the model which can be identified by a computer. The ontology construction based on the model of folksonomy can help the folksonomy to build label ontology effectively. This paper investigates and analyzes the main content, the corresponding system and the development status of ontology and folksonomy. Based on the analysis of the necessity and feasibility about the combination of ontology and folksonomies, we proposed a advice about using ontology to constraint folksonomy label which with the features of freedom.The related knowledge of ontology building has been introduced in the third chapter which including standards, methods, tools of ontology construction. Then we analysis the research status of construction based folksonomy, introduces the application and development of folksonomy to build ontology.In the fourth chapter, introduces the instances of folksonomy tags ontology-SCOT. The ontology of SCOT can describe the structure and semantic information of tags and make some corresponding semantic extension. It is a practical and simple expression for information system. Combining the analysis of labels which come from Folksonomy application web, we Statistics and sorting out the folksonomy tags about Degree. Construct the Folksonomy tags semantic about "Degree" system to analysis the build of Degree.The fifth chapter using the tool of ontology construction Protege-4.2to realize the tag ontology construction of degree. In the course of construction, analyze the concept of system and grade structure about Degree. Define conceptual framework on Degree Using SCOT. Give the Category set and the relationship between semantic categories on Degree. At last, we get a simple Degree ontology tag library.
