In recent years, with the rapid economic development, people’s living standards and wealth accumulations are improving constantly, the protection of people’s property safety gets a high degree of attention. Banks as the special place of the storage property of the people, attach great importance to the safety and security. Banks increase in the security, and continue to develop new security technology to ensure the security of the bank. It is obviously imperfect if security work is completed by relying on human simply. Video surveillance is the core of the bank security work in the information society. The bank’s security personnel use electronic equipment monitoring to ensure the safety of the bank. For a long time, the security video surveillance system has been played an extremely important role in the protection of the bank’s property. So the design of a fully functional, efficient and intelligent monitoring system is very important.This paper researches the history of the development of the monitoring technology as well as the current mainstream technology in monitoring. Monitoring industry is in a fully digital era, digital video signal completely replaces the analog video signal. The modern monitoring technology’s trend is digital, networked, integrated and intelligent. Although the development of surveillance technology is rapid, there are a lot of deficiencies. Firstly, the network monitoring system has not been fully reflected, it could not achieve the centralized management of security work. It is reflected that the monitoring system does not have full use of Internet resources. And it does not take advantage of the software architecture suitable to its own characters to complete the interconnection of application level of the monitoring equipment. Secondly, the monitoring industry standard has not been unified and it brought difficulties for the implementation of large-scale integrated. This is mainly reflected in two aspects:the first is the current monitoring equipment has a wide range of different brands and a variety of models, and the monitoring devices interfaces have not been standardized. It brought difficulties to the monitoring system integrated unified. The second reason is that currently it does not have a unified security monitoring system architecture what can make a variety of different types of monitoring equipment achieve a logical collaboration and functional linkage. It brings technical obstacles for the integrating of the monitoring systems to provide powerful, comprehensive monitoring services. Thirdly, the character of intelligent has not been fully reflected in monitoring system. Intelligent video technology has not been fully utilized to the services of the system. The monitoring systems do not make good use of intelligent video technology to realize the automate monitoring to improve the efficiency of the monitoring tasks and save the pays of manpower. The last point is that there is no uniform, overall and fully functional information management system for current monitoring system because of its small scale, not broad range of network and lack of linkage between equipment. Many monitoring center directly use the direct-to-device information management platform which the monitoring equipment provide. It brings difficulties for the centralized management of the monitoring system because that there is no unified information management system.This paper focused on the inadequacies of the modern monitoring system and designed a set of state-of-the-art monitoring system. The monitoring center can network monitor all of the banks of the city by taking advantage of this system. In this paper, the first job is the design of the architecture of the monitoring system. The system is mainly based on the C/S structure. Central management server is the heart of the system. The paper designed the communication protocol between the front-end equipment and back-office server. It selected high-performance I/O processing model on the server side to complete the communication between the front-end equipment and the server to realize the unified management of all front-end monitoring equipment. Then the paper designed the core modules of the monitoring system as well as integrated the intelligent video technology and sensor alarm and video surveillance linkage technology into the system. The paper realized dynamic monitoring by the design of the algorithms of dynamic allocation of video and the algorithms of dynamic recovery of video. Finally, the paper designed a unified set of careful, logical information management platform which is easy to expand. Monitoring personnel can manage all the information of the monitoring system on the platform.
