The optimization of mobile communication network is an important part in construction, operation and maintenance process of the mobile communication network, which is used to solve the problems that affect the quality of network services in current network. Based on the existing problems, network optimization takes corresponding techniques to adjust network structures, which aims to make sure that the network is always running in the best state, so as to make full use of finite network resources to get the optimal benefit. Genetic algorithms are a kind of effective means in solving complex nonlinear optimization problems, in this thesis we use genetic algorithms to solve two complex nonlinear optimization problems in network optimization:GSM network frequency resource allocation; business flow distribution in WLAN hotspot precise location.First, how to make a rational allocation of limited spectrum resource in current network is of great importance to increase the utility of network resources and improve network quality. On the basis of channel allocation model and genetic algorithms technology, this paper realizes the allocation of frequency points with practical application constraints based on the genetic algorithms. In order to realize practice-oriented initialization, selection, crossover, mutation and adjustment processes, we take advantage of the genetic algorithms to encode cells and their frequency needs and use adjacent channel interference between cells as a fitness function. This paper mainly solves the genetic algorithms application in partial adjustment of the network when part cells’part frequency points have been fixed.Second, in the expansion of new resources, as a complement to current2G network, WLAN’s exact location attracts wide attention. In the building of WLAN networks, we can get the accurate network capacity and coverage only in light of business distributions, so a more accurate business distribution prediction algorithm is needed to predict the distribution of business consistent with the actual network operator status. This paper puts forward a business distribution prediction method based on the genetic algorithms. By coding the traffic density ratio of different ground object type within the region, we use genetic algorithms to calculate the proportion value of different ground object type in traffic density that is close to the optimal value, so as to realize the approximate fitting of cell traffic, and then we can calculate the traffic density of different ground object type and accurate flow distribution of cells relatively, finally we get a flow distribution map that can provides a theoretical basis for the precise location of WLAN.Finally, based on the above research results, we develop the encapsulated genetic algorithms calculation module by using the programming language C++/C#、the.NET platform and SQL Server2005database, then apply it to network frequency resource allocation system as well as WLAN hotspot sitting system, finally realize the practical applications in Guangzhou GSM mobile network frequency resources allocation and the precise location analysis of mobile data traffic hotspots in Guangzhou. The system obtains the expected results after putting to use, which proves that the frequency allocation techniques and the ground object property rights computing technology in WLAN precise location base on genetic algorithm in this thesis have practical application value.
