Design And Implementation Of Speech Recognition Client System Based On Android Platform

In recent years with the increasing development of Mobile Internet and the growing popularity of Smart-phones, the applications in the Mobile Internet is more and more emerging, and also drive the development of many new technologies. One is Speech recognition technology. Speech recognition client system as a supporting part for speech recognition engine, and for the user interacting system plays a key role. Most of the companies now that have Speech recognition client system are not compatible with other client system that use different Speech recognition decoder, and lack of general client solutions.Under the understanding of the knowledge about the Android platform, as well as the research and analysis of the current speech recognition client product in commercial market, the article present the whole solutions of speech recognition client system based on Android platform, and including the design, implementation and testing.First, based on design and implementation of the current speech recognition client products, the article gets a large of requirements about the solution, through the comparative analysis method. There are several main points of audio recording, pre-processing, data transmission&reception and recognition results processing, then the system is divided into two sub-systems. And then based on the analysis of the requirements, the design of the client system is completed:adding on the key requirements, the summarized design is described by function block diagram. According to the hierarchical relationships between functional modules and calling relationships, the article gives the overall architecture of the client system. And it uses the transaction flow diagram (TFD) to show the business processes of the client system. Combined with the design plan and the technology with current product, the implementation of the client system is completed, including the details of the implementation about the client system from three parts of the functions, structures, and modules. Each part gives module description of the dynamic behavior and the pseudo-code description. At last speech recognition client system test is completed by configuring the test environment and the design of test cases. The article gives the conclusions after comparing test results in different testing environments and in-depth analysis of the test results.
