The core concept of SaaS is service-oriented software, that is to say that software as a service. SaaS software has many advantages, including convenient maintenance, cost-saving and so on, but SaaS software also has its drawbacks, the dependence on the network is one of the biggest shortcomings. Once lost the support of the network, people will not be able to use the SaaS software. As people’s work pace becoming faster and faster, people hope that SaaS software is not only the "online" software, but also the "offline" software.The offline applications on SaaS is the new research hotspot in the domain of SaaS, it is concerned by more and more people. This paper researches and designs for SaaS Offline Applications, the main work is as below.Firstly, this paper researches on the architecture and related strategies for offline applications on SaaS, including the application architecture, the related strategies for data synchronization, the related strategies for data transmission, the related strategies for multi-user conflicts, the related strategies for the identification of critical data, as well as the related strategies for offline authentication.Secondly, this paper designs the architecture and the related strategies for offline applications on SaaS. Taking the differences between SaaS software with traditional software and the special part on the SaaS platform into account, this paper designs for the offline applications on SaaS according to the study for the research on the offline applications for SaaS.Thirdly, this paper implements the architecture and related strategies for offline applications on SaaS. According to the design for the research on the offline applications for SaaS, this paper implements for the offline applications on SaaS and verify it on a SaaS platform.At last, this paper tests the implement for offline applications on SaaS and give the test result.
