The management and control of the network can not be carried out as needed in the traditional network because the control and forwarding function are integrated into the router.The concept of software-defined networking(SDN)is proposed to solve the problem,and this idea fundamentally changes the traditional network architecture.A fundamental characteristic of the SDN architecture is the physical separation of the control plane from the forwarding plane,therefore the network can be managed easily just like the software.However,the conflict rules may occur when many applications are deployed with the variety of application types.So,it is extremely urgent to research the solution to solve the conflicts.The relationship model is presented by analyzing the various application rules after a thorough study carried on for the SDN.We put forward the method to detect the conflict rules based on the overlapping spatial separation,in the meanwhile,the theory to resolve the conflict rules is established.The problem is solved successfully with the conflict detection and elimination scheme.The data model was established by analyzing the rule characteristics of SDN applications and switch flow rules.The theory model of the conflict rules is the basis for detecting and eliminating the conflicts between multiple applications.The scheme is realized to detect conflict rules using overlapping space separation based on the theory of conflict rules.The conflicts need to be eliminated combined with priority,if the test results show that there exists conflict.The mathematical splitting model was established by analyzing the theory of conflict resolution.We put up with the improvement solution to Philip Porras' s scheme in oder to enhance system efficiency that is removing some rules which are not necessary to detect,because there are some shortcomings in Philip Porras' s scheme.At the end of the article,the simulation platform is set up.We integrate the solution into controller module and design application scenarios to validate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed strategy.The final results show that the scheme to detect and resolve conflict rules is valid and the time efficiency has been improved.The scheme proposed in this article has three advantages compared with the existing schemes.First,the scheme can detect conflict rules for several applications.Second,the inappropriate rule priority will not occur because of the reasonable criterion.Third,efficient detection algorithm can be directly applied to the software-defined networking.
