At present, ONS (Object Name Service) is the key component in the IOT information discovery service, but it only applies to a small range of inquiry services. IOT is a kind of special internet, it has hundreds of millions of nodes, and each node has different ability, also with the features of dynamic and heterogeneous. These specialties, under the ONS mode, will inevitably lead to problems, such as severe overload, single point failure. In order to solve the above problems, many institutes have begun to research the application of P2P (peer to peer) technology in domain name resolution, and some fruitful results have been achieved, but there are a lot of problems, such as longer time delay caused by separation between the logical and physical location. To achieve efficient and accurate addressing in the Internet of things, a unique identification must be given a unique identifier for the item or resource object. Identification technology is a key technology in the Internet of Things, which is the basis of the resource addressing. According to the unique nature of resources and addressing in the IOT, a new encoding scheme, UDC, is proposed. Furthermore, after discussing the advantages and disadvantages of structured and unstructured p2p network and ONS system, we proposed a new overlay network architecture model (LRSM), and made an exposition of the resource dynamics discovery algorithm (RDDA) in detail based on this architecture. Simulation results show that the algorithm has high efficiency and robustness. The main innovation points are described as following:(1) the new identification coding scheme UDC introduces the information of geographic location, so it overcomes a series of problems caused by the separation of the logic location and the physical location during the resource addressing process. (2) The LRSM model uses a mixed hierarchical network model that comprised by structured and unstructured network to realize the distributed storage of the information, in this way, it could achieve balanced load of network node and had good scalability, also could adapt the scale of the IOT.(3) The upper network nodes of the hierarchical model are voted by the lower network nodes through constructing two-hop domination set algorithm and coloring algorithm, consequently, it could reduce the logic routing hops and time delay caused by the flooding query of the lower network.(4) RDDA algorithm based on LRSM models has high efficiency and reliability. In this paper, peersim, a p2p network simulation tool is used to build network model and simulate the resource addressing algorithm based on the model, and compared with the simulation results of current unstructured network Gnutella system, which show LRSM networks model has certain advantages in efficiency and other aspects.
