With the widening of network bandwidth and diversification of the way to connect to the network, Streaming Media Live System service has attracted more and more users. The research on P2P technology has also improved the development of Streaming Media Live. P2PSIP can be used to establish communication between peers who join the live media session, and a related draft on RELOAD protocol is in the process of standardization. However, the effect of the protocol has not been verified and the way to combine this protocol with live applications needs more researches. Research on the Streaming Media Live system based on P2PSIP not only helps to check the result of P2PSIP, but also helps to explore a suitable way to combine P2PSIP and Live system. Meanwhile, the Streaming Media Live System can get related experience to deal with changes in next generation network.This paper did some research on the Streaming Media Live based on P2P and P2PSIP technology, and analyzed RELOAD Protocol and scheduling methods of live systems. Based on previous researches, a Streaming Media Live system based on P2PSIP was designed and implemented. With the research of this paper, a way to combine RELOAD and Streaming Media Live sessions has been found, a mode which uses P2PSIP to manage session and schedule the transportation of media live data has been explored, the practical basis has been offered to related research, and the development trend of Streaming Media Live in next generation network has been reported.
