Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of P2P technology in recent years, various new P2P applications have brought an abundance of network shared resources and information services to people’s work and life. P2P technology with more and more users are fond of its unique advantage. P2P technology brings convenience to Internet users, however, it also brings a lot of problems. P2P applications traffic has occupied60%to80%of total network traffic. It has become the biggest consumer of network bandwidth, result in the rapid consumption of network bandwidth, and causes network congestion and security risks problems, and seriously affect user’s network quality. It also brings intellectual property, spread of the virus, information security problems. In order to identify and control P2P traffic effectively, prevent the Thunder download, PPTV online TV from excessive using, and achieving an accurate identification and management of P2P traffic, the P2P traffic monitoring system which targeted on local networks or other small network is proposed in this paper.This paper focuses on the key technologies of P2P and network traffic monitoring system, especially on Aho-Corasick automata machine algorithm and bypass interference control technology, and designs a new P2P traffic monitoring system. The system uses DPI and DFI detection technologies, and straight road packet loss and bypass interference control technologies, which can basically meet the need of all kinds of P2P traffic identification and control. The primary work of this paper includes:1. The paper researches and analyzes working principle and design program of P2P traffic identification, then contrasts their advantages and disadvantages. And make rational use of the two to identify P2P traffic.2. Research and analyze working principle and disposition pattern of traditional P2P traffic control technologies, then make a comparative analysis of their advantages and disadvantages. And make rational use of the two to design straight bypass joint disposition pattern.3. The paper focuses on the analysis of Aho-Corasick automata machine algorithm, and uses it to implement traffic identification module. The module is responsible for the identification and classification of all P2P traffic flowing through the equipment.4. Research and design P2P traffic monitoring system. Outline design the entire system. Analyze the structure and working principle of traffic identification module, traffic control module and traffic manage module. Detailed design workflow of traffic identification, control and management. Finally the paper introduces system’s framework and network disposition.5. Build the P2P traffic monitoring testing environment. The paper tests the functionality and performances of system. According to the test results, the functionality and performances of system are qualified.P2P traffic monitoring system is only designed for monitoring P2P traffic recently, with further analysis of network traffic, the traffic monitoring system will be used widely.
