Small arms fire is a basic project of the armed forces, etc. But for a long time, the traditional shooting training system is generally limited to fixed position of the shooting, lacking of flexibility. Indication of shots most also is given priority to with artificial indication. This way consumes too much time. Its organization process is cumbersome and inefficient."Live firing training system based on wireless sensor network" is designed in the paper, not only realize the low cost and high precision automatic indication of shots, based on the function of the wireless sensor network (WSN), can also evaluate objectively shooting speed and response speed of the trainer. It also expands the traditional shooting training function.The system consists of a target-sensor, wireless module, wireless sensor network (WSN), target display of part and base station. The wireless sensor network monitors particular objects within the coverage area, and sends the establishment of wireless network control of the target sensor information and related information. In the system, the base station in WSN control the shooting-target appear or disappear, to test shooting response speed by the time interval between the shooting-target appear and be shot. Target sensor calculates the position where the bullet Shoots through the target, and sends the parameters to the base station through the WSN.Current automatic indication of shots technology have some defects. This paper designs a kind of automatic indication of shots based on the resistive material device. The resistance materials mainly made from rubber processing, through to the calculation of contact resistance between the rubber, can accurately determine the impact on the location of target area. That solved the problem successfully. But, due to the applied voltage on the same resistance materials, the complexity of the electric field between electrodes resistance calculation is very complicated. This article through to the material resistance between electrodes and the impact on the model, the Laplace’s equation is obtained. Then the numerical solution of the Laplace’s equation is got. Then by the numerical fitting on that numerical solution, the relationship between the distance which from the electrode to impact and the resistance is got. Through the relationship and the sizes of the currents which between three electrodes and the impact, the distances from three electrodes to the impact are got. Then the coordinate of impact can be calculated accurately.In order to solve the problem of the target-sensor high-speed data acquisition, this paper also designs a data collection and control device based on FPGA. For shooting training personnel real-time observation results, application of the micro liquid crystal displays, and relevant circuit is designed. In addition, in order to increase the versatility of this system, the design of the WSN module between base station and the USB interface is done, which is convenient for the application of this system. Simulations for the circuits are carried on to guarantee the correctness.In this paper, through target-sensor and wireless sensor network (WSN), implements the response time of the shooting training to small arms fire and firing accuracy accurately determine are achieved. And more the system simplifies the live-fire organization procedure, realized unattended training, greatly improve the efficiency of training.
