With the coming of information ages,science and technology is developing in its fullspeed,while the increasing development of internet technology and its information industry ismaking one after another legends which is so amazing to the public.At the same time,with themarket-oriented system after China’s reform and opening up,China has been influenced by thewestern modern consumerism a lot which also make itself change a lot.As a kind of newmedia,the internet shows a tendency of consumerism distinctly,and thus lead to the breeding ofinternet information consumerism.Internet information consumerism which means a complex ofalienated values,attitudes and behaviors,in fact,is a new face of alienation in information era.The harm of internet information consuming alienation which usually appears in the look ofinternet information consumerism can not be ignored. Its cultural source is pluralistic,whiledestruction and remodeling to China’s traditional cultural values is both subtle anddistinct.However,in the course of destruction,the harmonious value and harmonious cultureincluded in China’s contemporary social culture has been heavily damaged.China’s contemporarysocial culture,including the culture of internet information consumption has lost the leading ofharmonious value which taking guide as its precious duty.Thus,many social problems,such asmoral and cultural disorder,the losing in beliefs have emerged in the area of internet informationconsumption.Above all,this study will give a systematic description of the breeding and development ofinternet information consumerism and thoughts of alienation,and then analyze theconcept,features,nature and harm of internet information consumerism,study the cultural sourceof internet information consuming alienation and the destruction and remodeling of China’straditional culture dominated by harmonious value.At last,it’ll try to find a new solution tosublate the problem of internet information consuming alienation from the view of harmoniousvalue. This study takes academics’ theories both domestic and foreign as premise,from the view ofinformation economics,communication,philosophy,and use methods such asobservation,literature analysis and content analysis,it gives a systematic description of theexternal features and nature,cultural sources of it’s breeding,and its destruction of cultural formand cultural value.Put forward kinds of solutions finally which will sublate problem ofalienation.
