With the reform of collective forest right system continuously deepening, forestry farmers’ production enthusiasm has been greatly improved, they need more and more forestry information. However, due to the lower degree of rural informatization and forestry farmers generally don’t have much more knowledge, there is a certain difficulty when forestry farmers want to get forestry information that they need. In order to solve this problem, this researchestablished a forestry individualized information customization system for forestry farmers. Then we set up the initial user model through the category of customized forestry information based on the individualized information customization system. Next we combine Web content mining and Web log mining to track changes of forestry farmer’s information demand dynamically, using the vector space notation to update forestry farmer’s user model.Then use each user model matching and filtering forestry information to get personalized forestry information, at the end the system push the personalized forestry information to each forestry farmer. So as to realize intelligent personalized information service for forestry farmers.Firstly, this paper analysis and summarize the research of personalized information service, put forward some existing problems in the research of personalized information service. Secondly we study the main method of Web mining, combine Web log mining and Web text mining to dig the text feature of Webpages that forestry fanner interested in according to the actual situation. Thirdly we analysis the related concepts and method of user modeling, then we concluded the process and method of building forestry farmer user model based on Web mining which is presented forward. Fourthly, we present the process and method of information push based on forestry information classification. On the basis of the above, this paper gives the overall design of forestry personalized information service system, and built the personalized informtion service model of this system. Under the guidance of the system design, we use S2SH framework to develop the system and present the realization page of the system. Finally, the thesis gives a brief summarize and the expectation on future work.
