The Ideal And Reality In The Flied Of TV News Production

The news production is a relatively complicate process. The process is affected by control and regulations of the external factors. In the meantime, within the practice and the self evolving process of the media organization, each practical factor is changing. It seems that there is always a deep gap between the ideal model and real practice in the news production.This article is based on the individual case study of a local news program,"News Banquet", in the light of the sociology of media, applied the qualitative research method, and focused on the frontier of the TV news production in the view of the news room field, in order to discover the interactive relations between the news production and the social environment, policy institutions, market factors, media organizations, the practitioners.In the first place, the introduction of the production ideas, development tracks, the framework of the organization has been put forward, describing the process of production and the interactive institution.What comes next is the combination of the Bourdieu’s field theory and the case study. This article reveals a variety of regulatory power in the production practice of "News Banquet" bringing in the news selection and processing connected to the political and economic structure of the news organization, in order to interpret the relationship between the media organizations and the social context and provide a realistic basis.The last part of this article is the analysis of the habitus within the news room. There is the further analysis of the realistic factors through the study of the context of the interviews and the mechanism of this very program, discovering the preference and characteristics, and contributing to the final results by fights and compromises.
