The Study Of Information Needs Of SMEs Based On Cloud Computing

Since the advent of information economy, enterprise information has become one of the important means of enhancing the competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs). Due to the restrictions of objective condition, such as the limited financial resources, the shortage of talent, the backward management philosophy, which affecting enterprise information, the application of SMEs’IT is in its infancy. Cloud computing, appearing along with the development of IT, has brought the gospel to small and medium-sized enterprises, is not only an innovation of IT, but a new consumption and delivery model of IT and business services, brings great change to the enterprise information, especially for SMEs. Enterprise information needs analysis, playing a vital role in the construction of enterprise information, is the first step of the enterprise information. SMEs should pay attention to the information needs analysis. The study of enterprise information needs analysis based on the development characteristics of SMEs is significant under cloud computing.By collecting literature, using case study, graphical and comparative analysis, the paper focuses on the SMEs information needs under cloud computing, in order to provide valuable references to SMEs information analysis. First of all, this paper categories SMEs from the application of IT perspective based on the characteristics of domestic SMEs, analyzes the advantages of cloud computing in the SMEs information combined with cloud-based services, summarizes the application status of cloud computing in the SMEs information. Secondly, the paper studies how these two features, the nature of the industry and stage of development, affect the enterprise information needs. The paper summarizes SMEs information needs of different industries, including same or different demands, at the same time, integrates SMEs information needs at different stages of enterprise development. Cloud computing information needs frame for SMEs is created. Finally, this paper tests and verifies the cloud computing information needs frame for SMEs by case study.
