Forthe intangible cultural heritage collection and management work, statusand function of public library is very important. Intangible culturalheritage which contains traditional knowledge, skills, folk activities,performing arts, and handmade products, related to clothing, appliances, are made by the folk, and these have all kinds of intangible culturalheritage area public library, because of the geographical location in thelocal, the "intangible cultural heritage" the collection and managementwork become more convenient and easy, work efficiency will be improvedsignificantly. However, because our country public library, especiallythe local public library, District, below the county level library, thelibrary scale and staff are relatively small, the degree of automationis not high, the relative shortage of funds, which makes the protectionwork relatively difficult operation.
