Intelligent Attendance Management System Based On Tiny Face Recognition

Class attendance of students is a very important content in the management of college teaching affairs.With the increasing number of student groups,some colleges and universities have adopted attendance methods such as credit card sign-in,fingerprint authentication,and binding face recognition.However,as these methods all require waiting in line,the disadvantages are gradually revealed and it is difficult to get the recognition of most schools.Therefore,most schools continue to use the traditional manual time and attendance method,with a heavy workload,which does not meet the needs of smart campus construction.Based on the analysis and research of tiny face detection and recognition algorithms and related theories,this paper designs and implements an automated attendance management system.The system combines tiny face recognition technology based on ResNet,which can detect and identify students in class on a large scale.Educational administrators only need to add timetables to the management platform,set attendance time and image collection times for each classroom,and the system will implement the scheduled time Automate attendance,quickly complete student sign-in and check-out work,and present visual and diverse attendance statistics results to teaching administrators.The system uses the SpringCloud architecture to build multiple servers,uses Vue to implement the front-end interactive platform and management pages,and uses a MySQL database to store picture address text,daily attendance data,and system operation logs;small face detection and recognition algorithms and other functional modules They are independent of each other and are deployed on the algorithm server and the back-end server in the form of sub-services.The functional test shows that the entire system works well,which not only eliminates the complicated manual attendance process,but also facilitates the unified management of colleges and universities,which is in line with the intelligent development trend of colleges and universities.
