In recent years, the safety regulations of the government pay more and moreattention to the safety of the environment and the quality of life, which promote thedevelopment of the gas sensor. People’s awareness of security about the environmentand food is enhanced, which create a vast space and prospects for the developmentof the gas sensor. In1930’s, the gas sensor has developed rapidly. Especially in recentyears, the explosion of toxic and leakness of harmful gases occur frequently, so itbecomes more important to research the good performance of the gas sensor.Firstly,Photoionization detector technical principles was elaborated and sensitiveunit was optimal designed according to the working principle, which achieved thesimple structures,mall size, and stable performance of the sensitive unit. Printedcircuit board technology was used in the machining processing of the pole piece,which greatly reduced the volume of the gas chamber, thus shortened the responsetime of the sensor, and greatly improved the sensitivity of the sensor. In addition, thedrive circuit of the UV lamp source is changed to low-power, light intensitystabilization of the UV light source driving circuit.Secondly,the intelligent design of the UV ionized gas alarm device waselaborated. Using SCM the C8051f040as the system microprocessor to control thescale conversion module, sound and light alarm module, power management moduleand liquid crystal display module, and the working principle of each module and thecorresponding circuit schematic was described in detail.Again, the remote monitoring system of the UV plasma gas Alarm wasintroduced. A wireless transmission system based on ZigBee technology wasDesigned, Achieving the detection of system wireless monitoring device, stableperformance, accurate data,and avoid staff on-site testing in practical applications,which avoid the Staff exposd to toxic and hazardous gas, eliminating a large number of manpower and resources.Finally, the testing of device performance was analyzed, which includedOutput waveform noise filter detection, linearity test, the device response timedetection, stable zero detection, and the detection of wireless monitoring system.
