So the monitoring systemproduct research and development has important application value.With the rapid development of computer network technology, video compressiontechnology and embedded technology in recent years, network video monitoringsystem enter the phase of rapid development. More network video monitoring productsappeared on the market to meet the needs of a variety of security requirements.However the C/S design mode was usually used by this traditional monitoring system,this design mode needs develop both server software and client software, so madethe development efficiency low, also PC was often used by traditional monitoringsystem as server made system energy consumption high, To solve these problems a B/Sstructure monitoring system experimental platform was giving by this paper by readinga lot of related documents. Surveillance cameras can be remote access by the userthrough a browser or other sprcial client software. Using the B/S strueture with specialclient software in system design, separating the embedded video capture terminalfunction module and PC Clinet monitoring software, the S3C2440as themicroprocessor and embedded Linux as operating system those was used by the system,open source project MJPG-streamer and embedded Web server Boa was used so as toachieve the remote video transmission and server login control service, at the sametime implements Internet access with Wi-Fi and then the detection and alarm ofmoving target was achieved by transplantion OpenCV library and used the combinedmethod of the background difference and frame difference, two degree of freedom holder was used to expand the monitoring field and combined with CGI for remotemonitoring.Through the build of development environment, the process of software transplantationand design, and so on, ultimately the intelligent home remote monitoring systemexperimental platform with browsers as clients was build and after testing basically thedesign requirements meeted by the system.
