Stydy On The Threshold Of The NORTEL PCF Capacity Expansion

This paper emphasis on the analysis of the impact to the network quality brought by PCFload of the sub-network CDMA1X. With existing data, we can study the relationship betweenPCF load and the success rate of connection with data users, then the relationship between PCFload and the success rate of change from dormant state or idle state to active state, and last therelationship between PCF load and PCF congested rate. Based on the requirements of networkquality index, This paper proposed a reasonable range of PCF load, this range can be used todetermine the threshold of the PCF expansion, and with this method, the network resources canbe utilized properly.
