| In today’s environment of industrial field, the technical requirements of fieldbus aremainly in convenient wiring, high transfer rate, low price, ease of integration and can beconvenient with offices in Ethernet networking and monitoring and other aspects.EtherCAT with high real-time performance of industrial Ethernet developed by BeckhoffAutomation has gradually become the leader of industrial fieldbus family to enableEthernet and fieldbus become a powerful integer, to utilize almost the available bandwidthand to adapt to the communication requirements of high real-time performance inindustrial control field.Based on the characteristics of EtherCAT technology and high real-time performancerequirements of industrial field to the control the system and to the parameter setting andother factors of process data in communication, this paper designs an EtherCAT slavecontrol system with industrial Ethernet fieldbus based on PIC18f4620microcontroller.Firstly, by learning and research of fieldbus technology, industrial Ethernettechnology and EtherCAT communication technology principle and the analysis ofEtherCAT feasibility in the actual project, the correct design is eventually established.Followed, it gives the detailed descriptions respectively for the power supply module, thenetwork interface module, the ET1100protocol controller module and the slavemicro-controller module in slave system hardware design. Once again, it mainly introducesthe two important parts the master control system and the slave application-layer controlprogram which compose EtherCAT slave control system software and the systeminitialization configuration. Finally, through the system experiment and data analysis itobtains the communication process satisfying the subject requirements and achieves theEtherCAT communication. |
