In recent years, due to the increasing energy consumption of the Earth, as a renewable clean energy,Solar energy gradually attract to the world. Further use of solar energy technology has become the consensus of the people. Solar energy will be the21st century the most important part.This thesis mianly describes design method of the solar controller based on embedded system, Solar control system is analyed and study in detail. Describes status of solar energy development at home and abroad in detail. And the maximum power point tracking algorithm. Solar power system elements, Introduction of every solar controller,provide the hardware and software of Solar controller.The controller is designed with an embedded ARM7LPC2131microcontroller chips.control real-time the battery charge and discharge process by detecting the voltage across the battery. And the control of the load circuit. By comparing the various maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms. and propose an improved maximum power point tracking algorithm.At the same time LCD Monitor as the human interface to display system parameters for real time. With a button to select the function to implement the changes and control circuit parameters., the experimental results show that the proposed control methods and the hardware and software designs are feasible and satisfactory.
