The main function of the servo stabilized platform is to isolate the disturbance of roll and pitch channels to make the camera’s optical axis stable. The traditional servo control system is using analog technique for analysis and design. The controller is using analog device (resistance, capacitance, and computing amplifier.etc) to achieve the control. From1960s, the digital signal microprocessor (DSP) technique is more and more matured, to compared with the analog signal processing technique, the DSP technique and device have more virtue such as agility, exactitude, strong interference immunity, small body, fast, stable capability and easy upgrade. Now, more and more device design is using digital technique.In this paper, the DSP chip TMS320F28335produced by TI company is used as controller, and the analog control circuit is replaced by the software algorithm.The communication of the DSP and the task manager computer is through one channel of RS422. DSP receive the instruction of the task manager computer then feed back the state of the platform. In the platform, magslip is used with position feedback and gyroscopes used with vehicle feedback to complete the closed loop control.The main job is achieved the design of the servo stabilized platform based on DSP core, and choose the servo device.The focus of this dissertation is the servo system hardware design includes DSP circuit, magslip resolver to digital circuit, drive circuit, A/D and D/A circuit, the design of the servo control software base on these circuits.The digital servo control scheme based on DSP introduced in this paper is widely used in engineering practice and can satisfy product application requirements by test. This verifies the feasibility and correctness of photoelectric stable platform digital control system and possesses certain practical engineering value.
