The developing of night vision technology depends on the developing and enchancing of the performance of its core element-the image intersifier. With the deepening of China’s high-performance three generations or even four generations image intensifier research, the Image Intensifier Screen has become an important part of restriction to improve the performance of the image intensifier.In order to objectively evaluate luminescent properties of the Image Intensifier Screen, the paper first discussed the traditional Image Intensifier screen test evaluation method and its inadequacies, and analyzed the effect on the luminescent properties of the screen’s structure parameters. Based on the traditional screen performance evaluation methods of analysis and reference, combining the screen’s luminescent performance in the image intensifier, the screen’s there luminescent parameters (luminous efficiency, MTF, light feed back)are respectively tested and evaluated, finally,FSM has been given.In general,screen should give enongh luminous efficiency,high resolution,high contrast,fit field charaeteristic and low feed back-light. From a lot of testing data and reasonable evaluating approach, the best matching of the screen’s arts and crafts and its luminescence properties is obtained.so this research takes on a high application value at the improvement of the performance of a image intersifier.
